But awesome job on the 10k! But I really like this post too... When I was in seminary I had a similar struggle with wanting my life to matter, my problem however was that I was trying in my own effort to make that happen! It wasn't until I really realized And surrendered to the fact that the only way for my life to really " matter" was to get plugged into God's plan and not my own whatever that may be no matter how significant or insignificant it may seem! I don't know what you are up to these days but I hope that God has given you the direction you were seeking! Many blessings! It's a reminder to me the Summit is more than just two days in August; the Summit is about an ongoing push and pull of what each person takes away and implements into his/her life. And memories do fade - but every now and then I get a glimpse of the memories - last sunday at my church we sang a song that I have not heard in a long time. It was a song that we sang on a mission trip to Bolivia that I took in high school. For a single moment I was able to close my eyes and think back about that time - and remember. And it was a great time of remembrance! I hope you're having a great time - and that even though the valley is around the corner once you return - I pray that it does give you perspective as you wade through the "bogs of life."
